Supporting the organisation by

  • Analise purchase requirements.
  • Place purchase orders in line with MRP
  • Monitoring and managing supplier’s performance against agreed KPI’s
  • Ensure on time delivery of items to the planned production date.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers on supply related topics.
  • Communicate with suppliers on issues related to delivery & performance.
  • Requesting quotations and negotiating best terms.
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reviewing current supplier agreements against agreed strategic objectives.
  • Be a focal point for key strategic suppliers.

Improving Efficiency and Productivity

  • Improve efficiency by following process and developing purchasing best practice.
  • Ensure stock is always available by managing the commodities under your control

 

 

Working Safely

  • Ensure your work area is clean and tidy by promoting the principles of Lean and 5S
  • Report any accidents or illness to your Section Leader.
  • Wear all PPE equipment/clothing provided of appropriate

At a time when every second counts, the arrival of our iconic yellow helicopter really can mean the difference between life and death.

We transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.

This year is an exciting time for the charity as it celebrates its 25th Anniversary and commits to flying 24 hours a day. Since 1994 the Air Ambulance has undertaken over 18900 missions all funded by donations with each mission costing around £2500.
