Mr. Elms is the Operational Director within Smart Made Simple (SMS), with 20+ years of strategic leadership experience in high tech manufacturing and aftermarket product repair and refurbishment services for Tier I organisations such as; Celestica and Foxconn; lean manufacturing expertise leading 200+ multi-cultural staff with a proven track record for success.
Mr. Elms is responsible for all things ‘operations’, including, but not exclusive to; manufacturing operations, Material Management, H&S, facility process improvements, lean projects, and quality control.
He is passionate about building, growing and improving key customer accounts by empowering teams through coaching, mentoring, driving a culture of continuous improvement and implementing best practices at all levels of a company’s organisation.
Mr. Elms main focus is to streamline the SMS operations, add efficiency improvements where required, and continue to delight the customer.
He studied Electronic and Electrical Engineering and holds numerous training and development certificates of achievement for Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, New Product Introduction, Account Management, and Quality Assurance, to name but a few.

At a time when every second counts, the arrival of our iconic yellow helicopter really can mean the difference between life and death.
We transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
This year is an exciting time for the charity as it celebrates its 25th Anniversary and commits to flying 24 hours a day. Since 1994 the Air Ambulance has undertaken over 18900 missions all funded by donations with each mission costing around £2500.
